integrating the DPS on the time factor(so you can see the total damage done)

\o/ Hook means this (MATH TROLLING INC <3<3<3)

On topic :

As a player, I need (in brackets goes what I use) :
  • Threat meter (Omen)
  • Bar addon to move around the action bars (Bartender)
  • Buff timer (ClassTimer)
  • "Warning" addons (BigWigs, PowerAuras)
  • Moveable energy bar (PowerBar)
  • Numeric combo point display (BasicComboPoints)
  • Combat text addon (SCT, MSBT)
  • Customisable unit frame addon (Pitbull)
  • Enemy cast bar addon (Quartz)

I think this covers up the "strict combat" section; got a few others to help with the looks of the UI (KgPanels, Elkano`s Buffbars etc).

Also, more for raid leading, I need some "general overview" addons, like Grid, BigWigs (with all the timers and warnings), BigBrother, Recount, Obituary (shows player deaths + what killed them), oRA (for invites and stuff) and probably more which I am forgetting now.

Personally I think that a clean UI to clearly show every important event is a very good "tool" to have. By having "Screen-friendly" (or "Eye-friendly", depends which term you like) configurations and warnings, it is alot easier to be aware of the events (those like P3W, Flash Freeze); while also not clumping up the screen and being able to stick to your rotation, check the procs and all of the other own spell related stuff.

Crazy things I did :
- Tanked Gruul (MT), Hydross (MT) and Kara (OT) pre 3.0 at level 70 (on the rogue)
- Soloed Ley-Guardian Eregos (heroic) at level 80
- Soloed Doomwalker (on the DK) at level 80
