Algalon the Observer 25-man DOWN! Ulduar Heroic is now CLEARED!

And finally the time has come !

<Prophecy> defeats Algalon the Observer in 25-player mode!

We had this kill coming for a while now, and it has happened last night, 8th of November 2009. We had a rather late start of the raid, made sure all the right details are sorted out, and started the hour on Algalon. We ended up killing him after about 15 mins, in our third pull of the evening. It was a very smooth kill, I wasn`t expecting that, but we really played nicely and avoided the errors; had all 25 up and a very forgiving 20 sec until enrage, that was a really clean kill. I`m really happy and proud we got him down!
The fight itself isn`t very hard from a technical view, but it`s a very hard check "by the numbers", with a very tight enrage timer and an insane amount of raid damage. As said in an earlier news post, what makes this fight special is the 1 hour timer per week a raid is given. Once you aggro him for the first time, after exactly 60 minutes he will despawn for the week. This is why it took us so long to kill it after Firefighter. We spent approximately 30 tries on him, with this week being the 4th.
With this kill, we defeated all the bosses in Ulduar 25-man, and got ourselves a new shiny title - The Astral Walker.

Back in Outlands, we resisted the urge to leave them Nagas and them twisted Elves alone, only to plunder the Black Temple. We instead went to put an end to the Naga Queen, and the Prince of Horrifcally Long Speeches, A task no others of our Horde dared to undertake.

And today we've proven again, that at times when others give in to their fear and turn their coward heel to more lucrative ordeals of savage plunder and pillage; Prophecy stays and takes care of the da business!
