Lana`thel (25), Valithria (25) and Sindragosa (10) down! Hi, Arthas!

We had a really nice raid week both in the 10 and 25 side of things (and it`s still not over!).

Prophecy defeats the Vampire Queen! (25-man)

On Sunday, we killed Blood Queen Lana`thel, thus clearing another wing of Icecrown. One step ahead in the road to Arthas!
The Queen fight is challenging, and very DPS intensive. We were really close last week with 2% and 3% wipes; we came back this week with some gear upgrades and alot of confidence, and we had her down in 4 tries. It would have probably been 1-2 tries if not for silly bugs. We were using the Love is in the Air buffs, and it was interacting with the bites in a very weird way, half the raid couldn`t use any abilities. Fun, eh? We killed it first try we stopped using those. We`re also keeping our shape so far with another realm first kill on a end wing boss.
PS: SERVER LAG IS CRAP, we lost attempts last week due to server lagging like crazy. It goes without mentioning that we weren`t really happy about it, make a 2% try then server lags out for the next few attempts and they`re wasted.

We save the dragon! (25-player)

This week we`ve also done some good things! On Thursday, we rescued Valithria Dreamwalker from the scourge.
The fight is very fun and it`s something unique in wow. It took us quite some tries to master (let`s say a bit more tries than we would have hoped), but it was a very enjoyable fight to progress on. In this fight, you have to heal a green dragon to 100% while DPSing down waves of adds which try to stop you.
If you`re a portal healer, that fight looks really awesome. It`s very tricky and also fun; as a DPS it isn`t that much going on but it`s still nice to hear who spots the skeleton first

Just Sindragosa remains! (25-player)

With Valithria and Lana`thel defeated, it`s just Sindragosa that`s standing between us and The Lich King. Looking forward for tonight`s raid!

The Frostwing Halls cleared! (10-player)

On the 10-man side of things, we had a rough week. Due to some complications in the schedule, we didn`t have much time to raid 10s this week. Last night we had a very good run though, 1-shotted Valithria and reached Sindragosa with 20 attempts.
This was were the fun began. Sindragosa proved to be a nice challenge, but we were prepared and adjusted our tactic accordingly. After a 2% wipe, the magic "last try for tonight folks" did it and we had a really smooth kill.
We killed her with 15 attempts left, so this means alot of Arthas time tonight!
