ATI 10.8 Drivers causing problem with WoW

10.8 was released a few days ago, meant to fix/improve SCII, unfortunately it messed up WoW.

To get over a problem of a 'sticky' cursor interfering with graphics go to Video settings in-game and disable Hardware Cursor.

Nothing major, just alot of minor annoyances with drivers, control panel, unprofessional software package. An nVidia 460 looks a better choice now and this would also solve my Christmas present dilemma! :)

To be honest, ATI has been slacking SERIOUSLY with drivers in the last years. I've been a fan of ATI for a long period, but their general disinterest for launching proper drivers seems too much.

Both companies suck equally, just on different days. Nvidia has bad habit of releasing drivers that burn the cards, literally. Last recall was 5 months ago, and it's not the first time that happens.
