Icecrown hardmodes update (4/12 down in 25H, 6/12 down in 10H)

This news post is slightly late, I waited until we finish our "first round" on heroics in 25-man on Wed and Thurs before posting anything.

Marrowgar, Gunship, Rotface, Blood Princes down in Icecrown Heroic 25

We were eagerly awaiting the new raid week since we killed the Lich King on a Thursday. So we started this week with enthusiasm, and proceeded to 1-shot Lord Marrowgar in heroic mode. The fight isn`t that bad, but it`s still pretty light tuned. We had a really close kill, but it was the first try! We also got a nice reward, Marrowgar dropped the first [wowitem]50274[/wowitem]!
We proceeded to zerg down Lady Deathwhisper in normal and then collect loots from Gunship heroic. It`s really the same fight, but hey, it`s a fun event and free epics
After getting Saurfang down, the real deal was about to start. We went on to Rotface, and it proved to be a bit tricky. After adjusting our strat, we got him down on the magic last try of the evening!
On Thursday, we went for the Blood Princes. The fight proved to be tricky at start, but once we got the positionings and tactics sorted, a kill had to come. Within a few tries we polished our execution and they fell down. Another [wowitem]50274[/wowitem] dropped, yay for Azgul! 48 more to go...

First 6 bosses down in Icecrown Heroic 10

On the 10-man side, we had two groups running simultaneously and each of them managed to get 5 bosses down. In total, we had 6 down because one group got Saurfang and one group got Festergut.
The 10-mans proved to be a nice challenge, but I must say I`m a bit dissapointed of how much raid setup plays a role into them. I`m not trying to complain now, because in a way I can understand why it`s like this. The setup in a 10-man impacts the group performance alot more than it does on 25-man. A fight that`s slightly difficult for a "not friendly" setup in 10 is most likely going to prove easy for a "friendly" setup. The other way around is a fight being hard for a "stacked" raid is going to prove next to impossible for a "not friendly" setup.
We hope to score some more kills in IC 10 heroic but right now we`re focused on the 25-mans.
