Well ill start of by talking about my situation. At the start of Wrath i played a holy priest. On this priest i got a couple of the early realm firsts including naxx 25, which btw was hard in greens ! I then had to leave the game for a while after drugging my way through the boring nights of naxx 25 farming. For this reason i missed a bit of progress in ulduar but have caught up with it since being back and cleared all content in their except for yogg +0. When i came back to the game my guild master had filled my spot as a priest and after a chat he decided to let me come back to the guild as a holy paladin. So after being geared up on that we made our way through icc 25. Unfortunately after the weeks and weeks of farming normal after 7/12 heroic modes we disbanded as a guild and everyone went their separate ways. So at the moment i would prefer to come to the guild as a holy/disc priest which i have alot of experience and am very skilled at but if its preferred i wont mind joining on my holy paladin which is the one who has the anub heroic 25 kill and 7/12 heroic progress in icc.

Well about me, my names tom and im 19 years old. Currently in uni studying economics. I spend my weekdays working and weeknights playing wow and usually out drinking on weekends. WoW usually takes up most of my time and am able to keep a 100 % attendance record for raids which i have kept in my previous guild. Born and raised in Manchester in the UK

I want to join your guild because of the post i saw in LFH. You need both a holy paladin and holy priest and i am able to play both skillfully so decided to put in an application after a chat with a member of yours. My goals in game are to get as much progression i can with my character and geared up ofc before nerfs where possible. For myself as a person i just want to have an enjoyable way to spend my spare time, meet some new people and hopefully see this expansion out without getting bored.

The last guild i was in was randoms, this is where i played priest and pala. The reason i left was because, as i said before, the guild died and so i wanted to carry on progressing etc so have been looking for a guild to stay in for a while now.
From your guild i expect an organised system of raiding and a relaxed environment whilst afking in orgrimmar or grinding /played. I will be able to attend all the raids and if not ill be able to let you know the rare time i am not able to play.

My raiding experience is quite vast. I did not play during pre-tbc as i was still a big kid playing in the dark ages of playstations and football in the park. I started to play during early TBC as a friend got me into it. Progression wise i cleared most of the content excluding sunwell. Started in kara and made my way up the ranks through grulls, za etc until i was able to find myself a semi decent 25 man guild. With this guild i cleared all end game content up to sunwell so MH, BT, TK and by the time we got to sunwell ability and gear the GM put us on a hiatus as wrath was very close to its public release.
Just before wrath came out i x realmed and found randoms, the guild i was in up until recently. With them i joined on my priest and got the 2 realm firsts. After clearing all the trash content and steamrolling the 1 night a week farming raids i had to stop playing due to bereavement. This made me take a step back from wow and sort out my life a bit. I still played but socially and so didn't quite get my drake but cleared nearly all content in it including alg 10/25 and yogg +1. I cam back to the game hardcore again into togc 25 and got a spot as a holy paladin in my guild. I cleared togc 25 getting my anub kill a bit late on the paladin because of this but still at least getting the kill.I made my way into icc 25 as a holy paladin and got 12/12 normal 10 and 25 and 7/12 heroic 25 and 10/12 heroic 10 (missing valithra hc, damn portal jockey achievements !) and so here i am looking to join your guild.

My connection if fine for raiding, i rarely disconnect during a raid and if i do its just cause of bad servers. I'm currently using a 24 inch Mac which cost about 1500 quid 2 months ago so is up to date with all the latest stuff (not a techie in case you didn't guess)

i don't actually have a UI pic in raiding combat but got one in a BG.
I choose to use as little addons as possible to reduce any possible complications which they like to cause. I used shadowuf as my raid frames as they are nice and simple to set out which a easy to understand frame. I don't use clique but mouseover macros for quick spellcasting and targetting

Got pally power ofc to manage paladin buffs and my keybinds are shown in the picture

Well as you can see in the picture, i have kept my screen as clutter free as possible. This means tiny action bars, no combat text and no recount. This allows me alot of visibility with my character and this increase my spacial awareness and because of this I'm not one to stand in fires or fail at moving from things.
My keybinds are as follows:

1- Flash of Light
2- Holy Shock
3- Holy Light
4- SS
5- Beacon of Light
F- Judgement
G- Cleanse
SF- Divine Illumination
T- Hammer
Z- Divine plea
S1- Bubble
S2- Divine Sacrifice
S4- Aura mastery

I use these as they are all easy to access and have worked very well for me so far in my raiding.

For holy paladins, the most important stat to focus on if your a HL build like mine is intellect. This is to get as much mana back from Divine plea and replenishment. After intellect what i try to get on my gear is haste as this allows me to cast more spells in a certain time increasing my healing output. After intellect i think crit is pretty much on par with MP5 so either for me is fine for a holy paladin, more down to personal choice imo. I have gemmed full intellect except for the 1 nightmare tear to access my meta and enchanted with every intellect enchant possible
I have 277 shoulders which i like to use in dala just for the GS people as i do enjoy the whispers of "wow you have so much mana, ohhh your gear is awesome" as that's why we get the gear right ?!? In raids i use my 264 tier shoulders for the haste benefit on them and for the 2 pc bonus, not going to bother going for the 4 pc bonus as its nearly completely useless as i rarely cast holy shock as it is.

When approaching a new encounter i always read up about it from anywhere i can, usually tankspot and take a look from all angles, not just healing, so i can input into the conversations in guild and hopefully help to progress.

I am a focused, fun-loving guy who will always aim to be the best at whatever I do. I hate to think I could have done better, or that someone else has done a better job than me. I am constantly theorycrafting and researching, trawling through Elitist Jerks, as well as various class-specific blogs. I do all I can to better myself. This competitive edge makes me good at what I do.

I think on the job, and never panic. I am confident in my ability; I understand my class (and everyone else’s for that matter) inside out. For this reason, my reactions are fast, and if I am asked to do something mid-fight, it will be undertaken instantaneously and without question.

When appropriate, I like to bring my own turn on tactics to the table. I am active on guild forums, and enjoy discussing ways around challenging encounters.

Even though I am confident in myself, I do take constructive criticism on board and will look to improve myself from it. I have alot of pride and don’t like to be proven wrong, but I come to my senses and can see another person’s point of view in most situations. Plainly, I respect an individual’s right to their own views and opinions.

Overall, I feel I would be a good addition to your guild, so I urge you to give me a chance to prove myself.
