I am getting some kind of error on my log on screen, which stays also for character selection. Anybody have any idea what it is or how to sort?

I can still log in so its not the end of the world if i can't sort, its more annoying rather than anything else.

Think it may have been since I installed AVR. Screenie attached.

Take a look at GlueXML.log in your log folder, see if that says anything about errors.
