Znor's Addon Spotlight #4: PvP Addons

Good day everyone!
I'm a bit later than I wanted with this Spotlight, because -someone- gave me a key for StarCraft II. Anywho, like I announced last week, I'm going to post about some nifty addons that are useful for PvP*.
Note:
The headers of the addons are actually links to the website where you'll be able to download the addon or check for more information.
LoseControl
:
LoseControl is a rather simple addon, yet incredibly useful. Whenever you lose control of your character (stuns, MC, Fear, Silence, etc), LoseControl displays the icon of the spell that made you lose control, in the middle of your screen.
Intimidate from a Hunter's pet
This might not seem like a big deal, but it makes it alot easier to see how long the debuff lasts, so you can continue hitting/casting/jumping/eating cookies right after it ends, without looking away from the middle of your screen, to your debuffs.
Additional options are to show CCs that are thrown on a party/raid member, and the location, transparency and size of the icon can be adjusted.
This addon gains a little extra functionality if you also have:
OmniCC
:
This addon simply displays a number on your spells/abilities that are on cooldown, indicating how long the remaining cooldown lasts:
Example of some bars with spells on CD
OmniCC also works with LoseControl, so the icon in the middle of your screen also contains a number indicating the time remaining on the debuff that has been cast on you.
Gladiminish
:
If you ever play Arena, you should have Gladius. If you don't, you should REALLY get it.
<Link to Gladius>
Gladiminish is an additional module for Gladius, showing the duration and severity of diminishing returns of any CC spell on your Arena enemies.
Example of Gladiminish at work.
To the left of the image you can see a couple of icons. The top icon is Fear. The DR on Fear will reset in 4.4 seconds. The red text means that the Druid is currently completely immune to Fear. (Yellow means 50% reduction, Orange means 75% reduction, Red means target is immune) The warlock here has had a Cyclone before, and has just received an Entangling Roots.
If you have ever wondered if you could cast a certain CC spell on a target yet, or you should wait for the DR to fall off, this is the perfect addon
InterruptBar
:
Even though this addon comes to its full potential in high-end arena play, I will list it here anyway. InterruptBar is a bar with all possible interrupts, which can (and should) be 'hidden'. Whenever one of those spells are cast by an enemy nearby, the icon for that spell will show, with a number indicating the cooldown of that spell.
The complete bar.
So for example, you're a priest in an arena match against a rogue. You cast a Penance on your partner and you cancel the Penance after 2 ticks. If the rogue is bad and tries to Kick you, InterruptBar will see this and show the icon for Kick, including a number for it's cooldown (10 seconds).
This addon will be a bit wonky against teams with the same classes and in battlegrounds, but it's still useful as a guideline.
ThreatPlates Beta
:
I feel obligated to include this addon again, because it is really, really awesome for PvP.
<Link to my first Spotlight>
.
You can see people behind walls because of the nameplates, it's easy to recognise which class that person is (class icon), and you can ignore or emphasize specific totems. (Kill that Tremor Totem!
)
In case you're wondering. Yes, I use every single one of the addons I describe in these spotlights
NEXT WEEK
For everyone who thinks PVP stands for Play Very Poorly*, I will discuss a number of addons for raiding. And I will try to create this on Wednesday again, hopefully.
*Everyone knows PvP means Protoss vs Protoss, where you should mass Stalkers. Or build Immortals if your opponent is massing stalkers. Or build Zealots/Void Rays if your opponent is making Immortals. Or Colossi to counter the Zealots... hurrr
