Heroic Putricide 25, Glory of the Icecrown Raider 10

Today we bring you something different. It’s your friendly hero-bear-troll writing a news-post!

It has been quite a while since the last newspost from Shadowmourne, and in the meantime we have done quite some things worthy of note. First of all we were sick of the Math lessons the Professor gave us, so we decide to form up as a Maffioso-hitsquad and kill him.

Professor 25HC

Having a bit of signup problems we struggled to get a group together at first, but managed to get 24 for our first serious tries of the evening. Fortunatly we all studied hard on maffia-tactics, and thus were able to get to phase 3 reasonably smooth. After two or three tries it was clear that an extra healer wouldn’t hurt. Ami switched to resto and that’s when our very own professor, Professor Spock, showed up.  

With the war-cry of ‘Hi guys, im running 1 fps’ he still brought the motivation needed for this very interesting class on Poison and Gas that putricide was giving us. After this we had a Full raid and proceeded with sublime play and got him to phase 3 time on time again. After only 2 or 3 bad tries, we got into the flow of killing. First we had to do good old prophecy style, a very low % wipe (think it was 4%?). Luckily straight after that our faces went blank, muscles were honed to perfection, concentration was optimal, winfury was put down and gallico made some joke about planes. This all proved that the maffia (I think we should rename the guild, really.) is a force to be feared by Math teachers.
Long story short, we killed him!

No special 1% iceblock stories here unfortunaly, it was a pretty clean kill!




The professor was not our only glory moment of the past month (yea we’ve been slacking on news). There was also a different glory to be had.

As the title says, we have got our drakes. Shiny drakes too!
This achievement took us quite a few weeks… mostly because we didn’t raid 10mans for a long time. The only thing that was really in our way was sindragosa heroic, which we started on rather late, but got down relatively fast afterwards luckily. Unfortunatly this meta-achievement has some rather shitty ones, and surprisingly they all involve sindragosa. This is part of the reason why we only have 11 people with the drake at this moment… it is just too much to do that horrible fight over and over ?
After the drakes got there  we went to sholazar basin and made some screenies




As a parting word I’d like to note that this newspost had to have been written a long time ago, probably 1 month or something. I have been slacking, so hence the late posting!
We hope to have 25man drakes and a heroic lich king kill on 25 to follow soon, so stay tuned ^_^
